The Story Behind Nivoriz — Built by Kavitha, a Founder Who Refused to Compromise

My name is Kavitha. By day I'm a full-time IT developer based in Hyderabad. By evening and weekend, I'm the founder of Nivoriz — a rice-powered brightening serum brand built specifically for Indian skin. Nivoriz is not a side project I stumbled into. It's something I built deliberately, carefully, and with complete personal investment — because I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere else.

I have acne-prone, sensitive skin. I know what it feels like to wake up every morning to marks that won't fade — post-acne pigmentation, uneven tone, dullness that no product seemed to fix. I tried serums, creams, and treatments. Some worked partially. Most didn't. And almost none of them were built with Indian skin specifically in mind. Most formulas are developed for Western skin tones and adapted for India as an afterthought. I wanted something built from the ground up for skin like mine.

So I started building Nivoriz. I worked with a manufacturer to develop a formula combining fermented black rice — a centuries-old ingredient used in Korean and Japanese skincare — with clinically backed actives like Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid and Alpha Arbutin. But I didn't launch at the first sample. I rejected four formulas before getting it right. One of them broke my own skin out in visible bumps. I went back and reformulated — because if I wouldn't use it on my own face, I had no business selling it to yours.

Nivoriz Luma Brightening Serum is the result of that process. Fragrance-free. pH balanced. Gentle enough for sensitive skin. Built for Indian skin dealing with acne marks, pigmentation and dullness — not adapted for it, built for it. My vision is simple: Indian skin deserves skincare that actually understands it. That's what Nivoriz is here to do. Glow In Pure Light. 🌾
